What you actually get
The Botanical Bliss is an all-latex mattress, which means no polyurethane foam core: a GOLS-certified organic Arpico latex core does the supporting, with organic latex comfort layers on top and a GOTS organic cotton cover over organic wool.
It comes in three heights, 9, 10 and 12 inch, and the taller versions add more comfort latex rather than a different core.
The certification list is unusually long for the category: GOLS, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, GREENGUARD Gold, eco-INSTITUT and Control Union. Because those are third-party standards we can point to them as verifiable fact rather than marketing.
The trade-off of all-latex is feel and weight. Latex is buoyant and responsive, so you rest more on top of it than sink into it, and it sleeps cooler than memory foam. It is also heavy, so unboxing and setting it up is a two-person job.
Firmness, and the comfort exchange
You choose Medium or Med-Firm, and PlushBeds says most buyers pick Medium: its page gives that share as 75 percent in one place and 80 percent in another. There is no soft or extra-firm option, which is the main limit of the range.
What softens that limit is the construction: the cover unzips and the latex layers are glue-free, so PlushBeds offers a one-time comfort exchange to swap the top layer if the firmness is not right. The new layer ships free within the contiguous US, but PlushBeds’ returns policy asks for a $99 deposit, refunded once the original layer comes back.
On split sizes, the two halves can be set to different firmness levels, which is genuinely useful for couples who disagree.

Who should skip it
- Tight budgets. A queen is a few thousand dollars. If price is the deciding factor, a good organic latex topper on your current mattress is a far cheaper first step.
- Memory-foam lovers. If you want to sink in and be hugged, latex is the wrong feel; this holds you up instead.
- Anyone wanting a very soft or very firm bed. Only Medium and Med-Firm are offered, so the extremes are not on the menu.
