Contact us
One address handles everything: contact@restverdict.com. The messages we can act on fastest are corrections, and the reason is simple: a correction that names the page, quotes the sentence and points at a source can be checked in minutes, while "something on your site is wrong" cannot be checked at all.
Reporting an error
Three things make a correction actionable:
- The page address, so we are looking at the same text you are.
- The sentence itself, copied, rather than a description of it.
- Where the right figure comes from: a specification sheet, a warranty document, a manufacturer page, a standards body. A screenshot of a listing works too, since listings change.
What happens next: we check the claim against a primary source rather than against the brand's marketing copy, and if the page is wrong we change it and move its last-updated date. If the source turns out to contradict the brand, we say that on the page instead of quietly picking the friendlier number. Our standards for evidence are set out in our review method.
Brands, PR and partnerships
Product briefings, specification sheets, certification documents and corrections from a manufacturer are all welcome, and documents are more useful to us than a press release, because a figure we cannot trace does not get published. What a message cannot do is buy a pick, a score or a position: we say how we make money on our affiliate disclosure page, and the commercial relationship never decides the verdict.
What we cannot help with
We do not sell anything, so anything to do with a purchase has to go to the company you bought from. That includes order status, shipping, returns, refunds, warranty claims and trial periods, and it is worth saying plainly because writing to us first only costs you days.
We also cannot give personalised sleep or health advice: our guides deal with comfort, support and fit, and a question about pain, breathing or a diagnosed condition belongs with a healthcare professional.
Finally, we do not hand out discount codes, for the reason given in our method: an expired code leaves a wrong price sitting on the page.
Replies
Every message is read by the RestVerdict editorial team and we aim to reply within a few business days. Corrections get looked at first, whether or not we reply before the page changes.
